This picture was taken last summer before todd and i were married. The day I thought he was going to die because he was sitting on too of the tunnel overlooking I-64. I was mildly freaking out because one, his feet were dangling over traffic, and two because I don’t do heights. But in lou of this pic here are just a few reasons why I’m super ready and pumped for summer…
1. bike rides. Biking through the parks, through downtown, anywhere and everywhere.
2. Waterfront Wednesdays. Nothin like free music and carnival food down on the river to make you feel like a hippie.
3. Burgers. I mean right? Nothing says summer like a good ol American hamburger!
4. Tans. I don’t think this needs explaining.
5. Shorts!
6. Swimming!
7. Late night walks and coffee
and I’m leaving my favorite for last….
*$5 movies @ Palace Theater. Being the movie buffs that we are this has proven to be the best way to spend our weekends. Bike riding downtown and hitting up a cheap yet classic movie. We had a field day with the Alfred Hitchcock theme last summer. $5 for the movie and then $5 for popcorn and coke. Now that’s a date!

Probably to no one’s surprise this was our first stop before the 2.5 hour trip back to Louisville. Nashville was good to us as always. Can’t wait to go back!
Todd took me to Nashville yesterday to see Lovedrug (omg!) Not only was it a Lovedrug show, but they played their “pretend you’re alive” set, which is my favorite album (eek!) We had a really great time, obviously :)
Best valentines day ever!

Last night Todd and I carved our FIRST pumpkin together! We carved it, roasted the seeds, and watched psycho. We have been on a Hitchcock kick lately so we felt psycho would be the most appropriate for the occasion. I think our little pumpkin turned out awesome!

It’s that time of year again! Last year at this time Todd and I went to hubers together but we we’re even dating yet. Just goes to show you that a LOT can happen in a year. Lol
Todd and I have been married for 2 weeks now. Best 2 weeks of our life!!!

So we decided to extend our vacation through this morning (Saturday). We never made it out to breakfast at tybee island so we felt it necessary to fulfill our plans in Louisville. This was a great way for louisville to welcome us home. We had a lovely experience. Definitely a grand finale to a great vacation. TB&MK
Final Destination Louisville!
It’s a long stretch home.
