The day I thought he was going to die because he was sitting on too of the tunnel overlooking I-64. I was mildly freaking out because one, his feet were dangling over traffic, and two because I don’t do heights. But in lou of this pic here are just a few reasons why I’m super ready and pumped for summer…</p> <p>1. bike rides. Biking through the parks, through downtown, anywhere and everywhere. </p> <p>2. Waterfront Wednesdays. Nothin like free music and carnival food down on the river to make you feel like a hippie. </p> <p>3. Burgers. I mean right? Nothing says summer like a good ol American hamburger! </p> <p> 4. Tans. I don’t think this needs explaining. </p> <p>5. Shorts! </p> <p>6. Swimming! </p> <p>7. Late night walks and coffee</p> <p> and I’m leaving my favorite for last….</p> <p>*$5 movies @ Palace Theater. Being the movie buffs that we are this has proven to be the best way to spend our weekends. Bike riding downtown and hitting up a cheap yet classic movie. We had a field day with the Alfred Hitchcock theme last summer. $5 for the movie and then $5 for popcorn and coke. I think we did it up right. Definitely left with the desire to visit again. We are gonna miss the locals at quarter’s bar and grill (mainly Dennis). They know how to show hospitality and how to make a game of darts look super fun. Going to miss the late nights on the beach and all the jelly fish attacks. Left with a few battle wounds but hey, hakuna matata. I mean, right? Man I could go on but I would be here forever, and I’m exhausted.
